Web design for

Restaurants & Food Trucks

A site that makes people hungry, then takes the booking. Built for dining rooms, bars, cafés and trucks that move, with the menu, the reservation and the pickup order all in one place.

What your website includes

Everything below is part of the build. Nothing is an add-on you discover later.

Restaurants

You run it, we build it. Everything here is set up in your own accounts and handed to you. AmeriDesigned does the design and the build; every appointment, booking and online payment is managed by you.

Food Trucks

You run it, we build it. Everything here is set up in your own accounts and handed to you. AmeriDesigned does the design and the build; every appointment, booking and online payment is managed by you.

Several companies will put online ordering on your website for a monthly fee. Here is the same service, side by side, so you can see what you are actually renting.

To be fair to them: that monthly fee includes ongoing support and updates. With us the first two weeks after launch are covered, and after that help is charged by the hour, so you only pay when you actually need something.

Your own ordering: what you gain and what you take on

Running the ordering yourself is cheaper, but it is not free of work. Both sides, plainly.

Advantages
  • Every dollar of the food price stays with you. No commission on a single order.
  • No monthly platform fee, so the cost does not grow as your sales grow.
  • The customer name, phone number and order history belong to you, not to a platform.
  • You set the menu, the prices and the hours, and you change them yourself in minutes.
  • Pickup needs nothing extra: no courier, no third party, no revenue share.
  • Deposits on large tables and catering are taken up front, before the kitchen commits.
What you take on
  • You answer the orders. A phone or tablet has to be watched during service.
  • Sold-out items are yours to switch off, or the order still comes through.
  • Refunds and mistakes are handled by you, in your own Stripe dashboard.
  • Delivery needs a courier partner such as DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct, and their per-delivery fee still applies.
  • Card processing of roughly 2.9% plus 30¢ applies on every order, as it does everywhere.
  • No marketplace browsing traffic. Customers arrive from your own channels, not from an app.

Receive deposits and make reservations within your website.

No-shows cost a restaurant more than almost anything else. Taking a small deposit at the moment of booking is the single most effective fix, and it is built in.

Receive payments and help your customers find you on Google

Who handles what

AmeriDesigned designs and builds the website and connects the booking and payment tools. That is where our part ends.

From launch onwards you manage the site, your calendar and your customers. Every appointment, every booking and every online payment is taken by you, through accounts that are in your name and under your control. Deposits and payments from your customers go straight to your own payment account. AmeriDesigned never receives, holds or refunds your customers’ money, and does not manage your bookings for you.

Ready to stop taking bookings by phone?

Tell us about your restaurant or truck and we will come back within one business day with a fixed price and a launch date.

Questions and answers

You did, and it is real. Here is the part those tools do not put on the homepage, so you can decide with the whole picture.

A free 60-second builder
  • The site lives on their platform. Stop paying and it disappears, along with everything Google had indexed.
  • Free until you take orders. Then you are inside their payment system, on their terms.
  • A template filled in from your restaurant name and a few words.
  • Their own site says online ordering takes 72 hours to go live. The 60 seconds is the draft.
  • Kiosks, terminals and upgrades are quoted separately, on request.
AmeriDesigned
  • The site is yours. WordPress, your hosting, your domain, in your name.
  • Paid once. No monthly fee and no commission on a single order.
  • Designed around your menu, your busiest nights and how you actually take bookings.
  • Live in 7 to 15 business days, and the price is published before you talk to anyone.
  • If you ever leave us, you take the site with you. There is nothing to cancel.

Delivery apps keep between 15% and 30% of every order they bring you. Your own site keeps 100%, so we put your menu, your phone number and your own ordering first, and the delivery buttons second.

Nothing happens. You pay once, and the site is yours: WordPress, on your own hosting, with the domain registered in your name. There is no subscription to cancel and nothing for anyone to switch off. Hosting and the domain renew each year, paid directly by you to your provider.

No. Not on a single order, ever. Money from your customers goes straight into your own payment account. AmeriDesigned never receives, holds or refunds your customers’ money. The only cost per order is the card processing fee your payment provider charges, which is around 2.9% plus 30¢ and applies everywhere.

You do, and that is deliberate. Refunds are two clicks in your own Stripe dashboard, and sold-out items are switched off from your phone. Nobody sits between you and your customer, which means nobody can hold your money or answer for you.

Yes. Your site sends the order to a courier network such as DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct, and one of their drivers collects it. You keep the full menu price and pay only the delivery fee, which you can pass on to the customer. It is not the same as being listed on the app, so there is no 15% to 30% marketplace commission.

Seven to fifteen business days depending on the workload, and usually seven. The clock starts when the deposit is paid and the design brief comes back, so the quickest projects are the ones where the menu and photos arrive early.
